Welcome to the Lisbon History Center Web site!
The Lisbon History Center mission is to collect,
store, and display historical documents and memorabilia from Lisbon,
Iowa and the Franklin Township of which it is a part.
Additionally, the Lisbon History Center is an official Lincoln Highway
Tourism Center.
The Lisbon History Center is an all-volunteer
organization that depends heavily on donations of historic items,
in-kind services and funds. Our contact information is provided in the
"About" section or email inquiries to the Director at

WONDERFUL NEWS!
Lisbon
History Center received a grant from The Greater Cedar Rapids Community
Foundation on behalf of the Wellso Family Fund. The money will be used
for "Development of Agriculture and Special Collection Area."
The Linn County Board
of Supervisors have awarded a grant of $1888.00 for research supplies to
the Lisbon History Center from the Witwer Trust Fund.
The Trust Fund was
established to honor Weaver Witwer of Cedar Rapids. Thirty-one other
non-profit organizations in the greater Cedar Rapids area also received
grants ranging from $1000 to $7000.
